Personnel Infected with COVID-19

Futaba Denki Co., LTD. has been following the policies of the national government and local authorities to prevent the infection and spread of COVID-19 at our company, and is taking measures to ensure that the health and safety of our customers and employees is the top priority.

Amid such conditions, an employee working in our company was found to be infected with COVID-19 on May 10, 2021. The following is a history of the situation.

●Infected personnel: One employee working at the head office

           Location: 2-23-18 Fukunari, Minami-ku, Okayama City

●Last day of in-office work: Apr. 30, 2021 (Fri.)


- May 6 (Thur.): Infection in the employee's family (felt unwell since May 4) was confirmed.

- May 6 (Thur.) and 7 (Fri.): Employee stayed at home (no symptoms).

- May 9 (Sun.): Fever was confirmed in the morning and a PCR test was conducted on the same day.

- May 10 (Mon.): Test results showed positive for COVID-19.

- Currently, the employee is recovering at home under the guidance of the local health center.

* The infected employee has not worked in-office since May 1 (Sat.), including the Golden Week holiday.


- We have confirmed that the employee's activity history shows that the employee did not have any close contact with customers or suppliers.

- Employees who may have been in close contact with the infected employee (up to two weeks before onset) have been asked to stay home and monitor their health status.

We will make every effort to prevent the spread of infection in cooperation with the public health center responsible and other related organizations, with the safety of our customers, employees, and their families as our top priority. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and greatly appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

The preservation of the global environment is the most important issue shared by all humankind.

We promote corporate activities that comprehensively consider the global environment and create a recycling-oriented society.

Environmental Policy

We provide a variety of equipment, systems, and services throughout Okayama Prefecture in our role as a general electrical technology trading company.

Through our business activities, we have established an environmental management system based on the following policies, and strive for continuous improvement and prevention of global environmental pollution.

(1) We will comply with laws, regulations, and other requirements we have agreed to regarding environmental preservation.

ZEB Planner

What is ZEB?

ZEB stands for Net Zero Energy Buildings, meaning buildings constructed with the goal of reducing their energy consumption to zero while also providing a comfortable indoor environment.

What is a ZEB Planner?

A "ZEB Planner" is defined as a business operating consultation services for implementing ZEB by providing business support (architectural design, equipment design, design and construction, energy-saving design, consulting, etc.) to the general public by utilizing the "ZEB Design Guidelines" and "Technologies and Design Knowledge for Designing ZEB and Energy-Saving Buildings", and announces these activities to the public.

ZEB Order Goal

Futaba Denki Co., LTD. will contribute to the development of ZEB by providing planning and operational support with the goal of achieving at least 50% of our consulting work for buildings to be for ZEB by FY2025.

ZEB Planner Registration

We have been registered as a ZEB Planner by the Sustainable Open Innovation Initiative, an organization that registers and publishes applications for ZEB Planners. 

Planning for ZEB implementation is provided to businesses considering the introduction of ZEB. 

The involvement of ZEB planners is required for ZEB subsidy projects implemented by the Ministry of the Environment and the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan.

ZEB Planner Registration
